These terms apply to the use of thedevstudio.ae and to services provided by The Dev Studio ("we", "us") to clients in the United Arab Emirates and elsewhere. By using the site or engaging us you agree to them.

Using the website and free tools

The content on this site is for general information. The AI SEO Checker and UAE Website Checker are automated, best-effort checks of publicly available web pages; they are not a legal, regulatory or security audit and we accept no liability for decisions made on their results. You may only check websites you own or are authorised to assess, and you must not use the tools in a way that places unreasonable load on them or on third-party sites.

Quotes, packages and payment

Package prices are shown in AED and exclude UAE VAT at 5%, which is added to invoices for UAE-registered clients. Prices in USD are available for international clients. A written quote or proposal forms the contract for each project. Starter and Business packages are payable in full before work begins; Pro and custom projects are split into milestones (deposit, design approval, launch). Payment is by bank transfer, card or Payoneer. Work may pause if an invoice is overdue.

What is included

Each package includes the pages, features and free hosting period listed on the pricing page at the time of order. Domain registration, paid third-party tools, stock media and additional pages or languages are quoted separately and only with your approval. After the free hosting period you may continue on a paid care plan or move the site to a host of your choice.

Content and approvals

You are responsible for supplying text, images and licence details, for confirming you have the rights to use them and for the accuracy of regulatory information (trade licence, TRN, professional licences). Arabic content we draft should be reviewed by a native speaker you nominate before publication. Delays in supplying content or feedback extend timelines accordingly.

Intellectual property

On full payment, you own the final website design and content created for you. We retain ownership of our reusable code, tools and frameworks and grant you a perpetual licence to use them within your site. Third-party assets (fonts, plugins, stock media) remain subject to their own licences. We may show the project in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Compliance and advice

Our compliance services implement pages and technical measures based on published guidance (PDPL, DHA, DoH, MOHAP, DET and others). They are not legal advice. For regulated sectors or complex processing you should have the final text reviewed by a qualified UAE legal adviser.

Liability

We will carry out the work with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the project concerned, and we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, data or indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Dubai courts, unless a written agreement with you states otherwise. [Confirm with your legal adviser once the UAE entity is set up.]
